Hi FolksI have a question and it's a rather minor one but still...My partner and I we were looking for a playschool to place our daughter in for a free year (under ECCE Scheme) and what struck me was that all of these places require deposit. My question is, is it lawful ? Can they actually do that ? Deposit value varies depending on how popular each playschool is and it is of course refundable, it seems harmless but still I sense a trickery and somehow financially coerced to something that, what I think, should have been a normal procedure.
