case throw out of court because of delay
Hello all, my question is can a case be throw out of court because of delay?
I was stopped in Dublin back in December 2010 for driving offenses,tax,test
But I was summoned to court in November2011 ,had a solicitor representing me on the day.
The garda taking me up forgot to issue the summons in to the court,which ment my case was not
called. This year 10 of April I was issued all the summons again on court in July.
When I went to court the garda failed to appear ,and the judge could not go through with the case
and set another date the 14th November . I was just lookin for information on my situation,all informationor advice would be greatly appreciated..
