Disgusting Childhood robbing Nazis have to be stopped!
Minister for Education / Nazi indoctrination Ruairi Quinn has announced the phasing out of the current Junior Cert programme over the next eight years.

The new programme will see 40% of examination marks being based on course-work and 60% being based on a final written assessment.
So from the age of 12 kids will have their parents breathing down their necks to perform in exams.
Continuous assessment at the age of 12?! I was speaking to someone today who had kids in German education system and at the age of 8 to 10 they are graded whether they are suitable or not for higher education what we call here 3rd level indoctrination. German kids literally have no childhood its pressure from the day they can speak or add a few finders on their hands.
The most fluoridated nation on the planet apparently along with Nazi indoctrination techniques, we either stop this shit now or forget about any further counter culture / revolution, as these kids are gone completely.
STOP THESE DISGUSTING NAZIS NOW!

The 'education system' has been the same since WW2. I had zero in the way of real education from the system with the exception of science, due to an exceptional teacher, the other 'real' education came from my parents and my time in college and in the work place. The current school system is a waste of time, the basis of education should be the trivium method as that allows for independent thought, then when children are mature enough, they should learn from a multi-disciplinary pallet of hands on skills from shooting to first aid-from gardening, woodwork, sewing, animal care, car building, metal craft, cooking to computer competence, basic electrics and plumbing, basic building, martial arts and woodland management. Then may be, just may be, humanity would have a chance, anything less is the road to slavery under the elitists.

Children are already continuously assessed throughout their school years, I can't see how the introduction of continuous assessment exams making up 40% of a students final exam results would have parents breathing down the necks of their children any more than they already do now. If anything the continuous assessment would give a better indication of how the child is doing academically, of course that is not to say that I agree with public schooling as it stands.
The Education system in this Country does indeed require serious examination. The Nazi rhetoric will be of little or no use.
@Bobby D, It is indeed easy to say, "Easy, stop sending children to government schools." However the reality of this is far more complex.
Bobby, do you send your children to a private school or are they home schooled by tutors or family?

I had the unfortunate experience of 3rd level indoctrination and i can remember in 2002 we were the first year to start with an increase in all modules with continuous harassment, the students from the years above us couldn't understand the vast increase in work load that they did not have to do, I never took it too seriously anyway just wanted to pass the exams and get the fuck out of the place but for students that wanted to gain high grades well they never saw much of the college bar and social life.
Thats my own personal experience with continuous harassment and cant see it being any different to these kids. Bobby your not far wrong stop sending them to these places.
