Bristol is now the second place in the UK to issue its own currency, the first being Brixton in London. This might be the way ahead, in fact it is almost certainly the way ahead, just as the Church's 'religion' has been by-passed and now politics is becoming irrelevant in the lives of most people, so too will the banksters money. Communities will simply make their own, governed by the issuing community's rules. May be we should issue the Tir na Saor Punt? We have lots of smart people here who could think up a workable anti-fraud system!
