You can carry a fold-up bicycle on the local bus, once it is covered, increasing your range. 

You can bring your mountain bike on a Commuter train and DART but not during busy times (before 10am and from 15.30 to 19.00).

Bikes can also be brought on inter-city trains and buses for a small fee.

  • Obviously you should stay with the bike and make sure its not in anyone's way, and if it has a battery you should remove it during transport.
