The price of a site would be cheaper if it was a cash situation?

Havent looked yet flo, best thing to do is do a search for small auctioneers in the area where you want to live and they will get you a better deal than whats on daft.ie
I called the auctioneers about the area in Glenlicky. He told me that the properties been on the market for a while and that the owner isnt too pushed to sell so he's kept the asking price at 15k an acre. That works out at a total of 367k for the entire property. Split between 20 people/families this would work out at 18k each. The agent was very curious as to what I wanted the land for, so I told him it would be used for a permaculture community project (not a lie lol!) he took my email addy and said he will keep a lookout for something similar at a cheaper price but have me heart set on this place to be honest!
