The Irish No State Project
A large number of people have come to the conclusion that the concept of government is an immoral and unnecessary way of organising society. If you are one of these people and if you believe in empowering the individual to live in autonomous communities then this project is for you!
This is your chance to be part of one of the greatest leaps forward in human organisation, a move to a society free from the initation of coersion. Endless amounts of human potential will be born and released here because of this freedom. For anyone with a deep passion for freedom and a love of humanity this is unmissable.
The Irish No State Projects goal is to move 10,000 liberty minded individuals to a county in Ireland to begin the transition to a stateless society. First we will be looking to gain 5,000 commitments to the project. Then we will have a vote to decide on the most disirable county to concentrate on moving to.
Freedom Ireland is a project for individuals that believe that real lasting freedom can only be achieved through virtue, reason and truth. The main objective of Freedom Ireland is to organise a group of individuals that support the principles of voluntaryism and create a society free from statism.
Our philosophy is based on the moral principal of Non- Aggression. We view the initiation of aggression as immoral and see it as an illegitimate way to organise society. Since the government initiates aggression in the form of taxation, and through immoral legislation that assaults the individual to the point where he is fined or imprisoned for peaceful life choices. We believe that first people must become aware of the immorality of government and then we can eagerly begin to create what we already have in our personal lives, a society free from coercion.
Topics discussed range from self knowledge to economics to achieving a free society.

The video at the top of the page called "The Sunset of the State".
There is an initative called The Citadel planned for 7000 families in a remote county in Idaho

There is about 10000 people living in this county so if it got built then they could vote their own sheriff. The Sheriff is supposed to be the top law in any county and could arrest any federal agent. What would actually happen would remain to be seen but I would assume that he would have about 5000 in his posse if 7000 families move there.

i watched that video and liked it until the very end where the person threw away his sword. I not know how anyone could consider themselves free men if they do not keep the most basic of human rights, ie the ability to defend himself

I'm very interested in Voluntaryism, right now now so interested in the move to a new community. But am beginning to learn about Mises and Rothbard among others. I'm looking for a Voluntaryism group in Dublin, preferably with others further down the Voluntaryism path than I am. Or I'm considering starting one. There is anarchist groups in Dublin but they are socialists, my interest is Anarcho-Capitalism. I'm just looking for likeminds to discuss these issues, not looking for everyone to conform to my views and vise versa. Any thoughts?
