Handmade Viking Ox Bone Comb with Bronze Studs

Handmade Viking Ox Bone Comb with Bronze Studs

I make these combs using reclaimed bones. these are normally obtained from the butchers and after being used for stock or my dog I use a Dremel tool to cut the bone to shape, this particular comb is made of seven pieces of bone. The teeth are made from five pieces. These are then sandwiched tight between the two top pieces. If I have tool I will some tomes use a very hot piece of wire or iron (depending on the thickness of bone) to created pierced designs.

I prefer barter as a means of exchange. I am sure we could arrange something.

That looks incredible - the detail and symmetry. You must be really highly skilled.
