Was having a chat with the folks this evening, after a few drops of the old firewater, anyway the conversation got onto the Cuckoo and how apart from the fact that the greedy fecker gets a different bird to rear its young because its too lazy to do it itself, it also knows each year to select the same bird it did previously, building some kind of genetic relationship with that bird type and its Cuckoo egg going forward year after year.
