Libertarian Lessons of South Park

Libertarian lessons of south park
Hey Guys, I'd like to recommend this book by Brandon Simpson. It’s called ‘The Libertarian Lessons of South Park (Analysis of Libertarianism in South Park, How Ron Paul, Gary Johnson & South Park Created a New Generation of Libertarians & South Park Conservatives ).’
Whether or not you’re a fan of South Park you will get something from this book, but, if you are a fan you’ll love it!
I know South Park’s crudeness and no holds bar approach isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but one thing I always admired was the writer’s ability to layer the episodes with political subtext and sharp social commentary. When one sees past the fart jokes South Park becomes a work of high caliber satire.
Brandon has gone through several episodes highlighting the political subtext from a libertarian perspective. Like the creators of South Park it’s written in an easy entertaining way but still conveys the political insights quite clearly and in nice digestible chunks. An enjoyable read indeed.

This video explains the types of libertarians very well. It explains that certain libertarians are anarcho-capitalists.

I wouldn't say so no. Depends on what you mean by the word really.

Tír na Saor supports free and independent thought and expression. I would say it is liberal in the traditional sense of the word which shares it's root (liber) with the latin for book and is where we get our word library. Every individual has their own opinion on different topics. Ron Paul and Tea Party are not local enough for me personally to be too concerned with them but i do like Ron Paul's approach to politics, that's just me though.
