This is disgusting! Corporate food, just don't eat it. Now if you don't get angry and want to get the calf beating bastard with an axe, I have to ask, what does it take to stir you. Honestly, 5 minutes in a locked room with me and he would never touch another animal-ever!
There is no need for cruelty in slaughter, the only reasons are sloppy or just wicked! I have shot animals for food and this can be done with no suffering at all and there are tests, like eye reflex to ensure the animal is brain dead and the kicking is not due to pain, also there should be no vocalization. There are ways to do this unpleasant job right, but when workers are paid €8.60 an hour and put under pressure, what can be expected?

I used to work in this industry ie manufacturing Mac burgers ie I managed the plant. Its a tougn high pressure, noisy envoirment. The first video from Lopez is fairly accurate, propaganda from management notwithstanding. The meat industy is everything an industry should not be. Poorly paid for the line workers, no chance for promotion, low tech process, moral issue of the slaughtering of animals, low quality food product, a few at the top make all the money. I'm glad I got out of it.
